Compare to MY STORY
this album is definitely better. Because she has better songs here
unlike her previous album even though it does still have some good
songs. But you can say for this one she sorta save the best for last.

Review:
I feel incredibly silly for reviewing Ai's latest album without
listening it thoroughly. In fact, this is precisely what I'm going to
do after I have successfully posted the update. In spite of my poor
knowledge, however, if you'd be to claim that fan's of Ai had waited
for her newest with a good reason, I couldn't really argue back. While
LOVE COOK includes some of her very best songs up-to-date (name Cherish and PLANETARIUM),
I find myself warming up for her the newer, less familiar tunes as
well. As I mentioned before, I can't give a honest opinion about her
latest album yet, but although it wouldn't be as big a hit as her debut
album LOVE PUNCH
(which has played almost non-stop in my cd-player lately), the success
in charts lets us assume that LOVE COOK belonged to one of the most
awaited albums of the soon-to-end year. While I found LOVE JAM
a small disappointment, LOVE COOK has a lot potential, to me at least.
You need to decide your point of view yourself. Undoubtedly though,
LOVE COOK is a definite grab for every fan of the lady and a good
experience even if you weren't too familiar with Miss Otsuka's music.
There are four different versions of the album available (both Japan
and Overseas at YesAsia). I picked a copy of the original Japanese
Photo book version before it went out of print and am 100% satisfied
with the choice.

Truth to be told, I highly doubt that this is a Christmas song, but I
decided to include it anyway. Despite the popularity of the group
Orange Range, I never got myself to try out their stuff until I found
this song. Although my taste in j-rock is very picky, I
immediately found myself liking this song. It might not start in the
most interesting way, but one can not deny that the chorus is quite
catchy. Overall, a very delightful surprise.

remember when my Scottish friend B introduced me to this song back in
the summer. We were both quite obsessed with it even though it was half
a year until the season. They did me a big favor when deciding to
include Winter Bells in Mai's Wish You the Best. If you haven't heard this song by Mai yet, I order you to correct that right away.
