Kumi debuted in 2000 and released her first album in 2002. Overall she
was pretty much ignored till the release of her single "Real Emotion"
was used in the Japanese release of the video game Final Fantasy X-2.
Apparently years before, she had tried out for Morning Musume and
failed ( °o°! ), but now that she is on her own, she's gotten probably
more popularity as a solo artist than she would have with Momusu. She
uses a jazz and R&B influenced style of pop music, which as of late
seems to be growing in popularity. Unlike a lot of Japanese pop
singers, Kumi is willing to push the envelope with her music videos,
and some people believe she is becoming the Japanese Christina Aguilera.
Thoughts:
For putting out as many singles at once as she is, I'm very pleased
that they are all of good quality. Sometimes I worry when they do stuff
like that, ya know? I'm worried that it's all rushed and that you're
gonna hate at least the first couple. But no, I'm very glad to be wrong
this time. I like this song, it's very good. Worth the download.

Zwei is a duo made up of Ayumu and Megu who play a mix of jpop &
jrock. They dubted in 2002 and many fans were attracted to Ayumu's
voice. They are pretty unique with their look and though not as
established as other bands or perhaps...not as well known as other
bands, Zwei does boast a lot of talent for a two person rock group, and
the fact that they are female makes a big difference too.
Thoughts:
I like Zwei. =) They're fun and their music is fun as well. The album
over all is good and if you enjoy a jpop/jrock hybrid style, you will
enjoy them. Actually...I really do like this album, I like it a lot. So
I'm changing the rating. =)

If you're into Jpop and you don't know who Ayumi Hamasaki is...oh wait.
That's impossible. One of the most famous and talented artists in the
Japanese pop industry, Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the few artists to
actually be in almost complete control of everything she does as an
artist. She also is in ownership of her music and has said that is all
that really matters to her. That the music she makes belongs to her.
Ayumi debuted in the 90's and swiftly took the Jpop queen crown that
Namie left behind and is one of the most prominant Japanese singers of
our generation.
Thoughts: Album over all. Excellent. There
are a couple songs I still can't take...well, mostly just
Bold&Delicious. Hate the figgin' chorus. But I mean, it's a good
album. Ayumi is one of those artists where they can put out an album
and you can listen to it all the way through enjoying every song. This
is yet another one of those albums and I really do enjoy her music.
She's go a lot of creativity with her style. =)

really matured since her time with S.E.S. If there is one song you have

To be honest, Japanese rap isn't really one of the best things to
listen to and V6 doesn't make it any better. The chorus of this song is
what makes it great...it's really cheerful song. After a while, the rap
parts just start to grow on you. Most of you will probably recognize V6
from Inu Yasha's first ending, 'Change the World'.

What can I say...I love instrmentals. I've never actually seen the Love
Hina anime but there are some really great songs from it, especially
this one. The instrumental version of the song sounds a lot better than
the original vocal version. The song is off the Xmas Special album.

matter what time of year it is. All I have to say is that this song is
absolutely amazing. Shoo used to be a member of the popular Korean girl
group, S.E.S. The group slipt a while ago but each of the girls pursue
individual careers. Shoo has the fullest voice in the group and she has
really matured since her time with S.E.S. If there is one song you have
to download from this rotation, it's this one.

I just adore this song. It's very upbeat and pop~ish yet the lyrics
aren't what you would generally expect from a Christmas song. If you
liked Cinderella, you'll like this one as well. It follows the same
pop~ish mood but with a more holiday feel to it.
